Hi guys.
It come here again. Whatever i try, metal clamp, clean seat tube, no way to work. It slips again and again. Maybe i missed something? Seatpost is thomson seatback right now, used specialized and cheap one, slips too.
Please help.

I had this issue on my 2008 mission and found the QR had a bad (ie stripped) threaded rod. Unfortunately, I found this out on the trail 13 minutes into a ride. It was a sucky ride back to the car -- all standing up!

A new seat binder fixed that.

Have you tried carbon assembly paste? That's the only way I was able to get my post to stick without using unreasonable force on the QR clamp.

I have several rides on my mission with the new binder and I have had no slips. $10 USD.

i bought new binder this spring and it doesn't help a lot
carbon paste, will try, thanks!

i used tacx paste for seatpost, really helped.
