Hey guy's sorry to ask such a generic question but im picking up a 2008 slayer sxc 50 for 1500 bucks but its a size 18 anyone else around 5'8 riding such a frame size? I had a 16.5 at one point and it did feel a bit small but im wondering if the 18 would be a bit too big?

Thanks for any input.

I'm 5'8"-5'9" (32" inside leg) and ride an 18" SXC. I too found the 16.5" too short when I sat on it in a shop. Didn't even demo it as a result. Took the 18" out and it felt very like my Cove HT and was very happy with it. Clearance hasn't been an issue for me.

Yep, let's face it, if you crash on a bike like this, it doesn't usually involve just whacking the 'nads on the TT, it usually involves more of a sense of flying then a dirt, sky, dirt, sky, dirt, sky sort of progression. :D

And if it does, you're not going fast enough! :D
