I know that Specialized only sell S-Works frame but is there a way to buy a M4 Stumpjumper FSR frame.

Looking for a large red satin frame. :)

You'd have to find one second hand.

There is no way to get a get a new frame if you drop, let say, your 200 lbs dumbbell on your bike!??!?

yes you can !!!

Specialized has a frame replacement deal :

1) turn in any frame ( not a huffy)
2) Pay $1200 dollars
3) Recieve a 2006 FSR stumpjumper Pro with Remote brain

Just contact your local dealer and he will get it order through your Rep! I just got one its thateasy!!

Now, if you ask me....between spending $1200 for just the frame, or spending $1500 and getting a complete Stumpy FSR, I'd go for the complete bike (brain or no brain).

If you don't need the components, chances are you can sell them on eBay and more than make up the $300 difference between the two....especially since they would all be brand new!

Plus you would still have your old frame that you could try and sell.

Also, keep in mind that some of your old Stumpy components might not fit on the new frame which means you'd have to buy new stuff anyway.

Buy new bike!

I read in a bike mag (can't remember which) "the cheapest way to buy a frame and fork is to get the whole bike from your LBS" or something to that effect. I was trying to build a S-works Stumpy and after I would have paid for the frame and fork it was only a few hundred more to buy the whole bike. So I ordered it that same day. I cant ride it enough but love it all the same.
