Current ride is an ancient 2001 Jamis Dakota AL 17". I am considering going to a 29er, but won't be able to test ride the exact model I want (Sette Razzo 2.0). I am stuck between a 16" (small) and an 18" (medium) on the Sette. Here are the geometry figures to consider:

Effective TT - Jamis = 22.77, Sette 16 = 22.48, Sette 18 = 22.77
Wheelbase - Jamis = 41.54, Sette 16 = 42.59, Sette 18 = 42.61
HT Angle - Jamis = 71, Sette both sizes = 71.5
ST Angle - Jamis = 73.5, Sette both sizes = 74
BB Height - Jamis = 11.69, Sette both sizes = 12.8
Standover - Jamis = 29.29, Sette 16 = 29.65, Sette 18 = 30.98

FYI, I'm 5'10" with a 32.5" inseam. My Jamis with a 22.77 effective tt has a 120mm stem.

The TT on the 18 is the same as my current ride. But the wheelbase and standover are closer on the 16 to my current ride. My gut says "go with the 18". What say any of you?

I am 5'10 1/2" with a 34" inseam. I ride a 19" Redline Flight 29er and a 19" Stumpy Comp 29er Hardtail. W/O comparing all the measurements, I would think you could ride the 18"

The wheelbase and stand over are not relevant for fit.
