I rode a Remedy 8 today that was a 18.5 and it seemed kind of cramped. For the record I'm 5' 11 1/2" and 6' on a good day. Do I need to go with the 19.5? What does everyone else ride based on a similar height?

Thanks in advance.

I'm 6'1 (on a good day) and have just bought a 21" Remedy 8. Fits perfectly, but I might try a slightly shorter stem at some point to see if it makes a difference. I had read elsewhere that the remedies come up a bit short, so I'd probably go for the 19.5 if I was you. It's an awesome bike, enjoy!

Trek sizing with the virtual vs actual seat tubes is really goofy. Think of it this way: 18.5 is a M, 19.5 is a M/L and 21.5 is a L.

FWIW, I am 5' 10" and roll a 19.5 in a Remedy 26er. I was exactly in between sizes and went with the bigger bike and a shorter stem.
