Since Team Twitchy and myself are in competition to see who can spend more on their Zion frames, I thought I would post some pics of mine that I Just got back from Drake Coatings. The color is cosmic blue with a clear coat. The cost of the Powder Coating and clear was $65.00 with stripping of the old color. It was SOOO cheap, and the quality was good, I couldn't resist tipping him $10.00 more. The color washes out a little in the sun, but there should be some pics where you can tell what color it really is.

TD take note of the disc mount Pic, the guy who welded my disc mount must not have been into the Sake' the night before.

Around these parts it is about $100 or so at one local place for stripping and powder - I think clearcoat is another $20 extra or so.

Interesting because mine looks identical, and seems to line up within specs. I thought it was a flaw at first, but have no issues with it.

Blue Zion Revisted

I was asked to post pictures of this bike now that I have the Decals back on her. I'm liken the white. Sorry the Pictures are a little bright. Hope you like it. I'm still amazed this is one of my favorite rides, and it was the lest expensive of all the frames I've owned. I guess you just never know.

I have been riding the Zion exclusively offroad since I built it up.
I honestly cannot fault it for performance vs my blinged out Ventana El Comandante and have convinced myself that if I ever need to replace the Ventana I will not waste my money on another Ventana and will instead buy myself a SS version of the Zion.
I find very little between the 2 with points narrowly going to the Zion for climbing and to the El Comandante for cornering on downhills.
Very happy with my decision to give the Zion a try for my geared bike.

NO, it is even a issue with the tall Ventanna Race.
