Hi,

I'm new here. I'm looking to purchase a Sirrus, the people at the bike store weren't much help. This may just come down to what feels right but wanted to get some opinions before I go back to the store tonight to try it one last time before ordering.

I'm 5'4" female but with long legs - 33" inseam. At first I had a small - I just assumed I would be a small after reading a lot of threads regarding size. It felt good but had to raise the seat a lot for my legs to fit but then I felt I was a little too much over the handle bars.
The medium the seat height was perfect, just had to raise it very slightly but then the bars I was definitely more stretched out - thought that might not be a bad thing?
Any opinions?

Thanks!!

pics of you for judgment?

Ok not really, i just figured i would say it before some of the others on here did. anyway, from what you are describing, you may want to look into the small with a set back seat post. That will gain you hight as well as distance from the bars. it sounds like your torso is short, so am Med, may have you too stretched out. That is just an opinion, however, go with what feels right

I too am a 5'4" female with about a 31 inseam and I went with a medium Stumpy. I also had a medium FSRxc. IMO it is more comfortable to have the bigger bike, especially with a multi-use bike. Your legs don't get as tired if you can stretch them out far enough, and on the mtb at least, the seatpost on the small had to be so far out that it was bordering on unsafe for me.
