Sinister Ridge vs. Banshee Scirocco

I'm looking to build up a FR HT with left overs from my Chap rebuild.
5" Z1 FR QR20 will be up front.

Got it narrowed down to either the Sinister Ridge or the Banshee Scirocco.
Physically these frames practically look alike.

The Ridge is really *****in' but the Banshee Scirocco is about $150.00 cheaper and we all know about the Banshee warranty.

Anybody got input on either of these 2 frames?

that is a really tough choice. I think either one would be SICK. I might have to lean toward the Banshee, just cuz of the customer service and cheaper price.
It's not a tough choice for me! You just aren't going to find a higher quality frame than the Sinister. Banshee's nice, but the Ridge is unbelievable. Have you seen one up close? Also, the Ridge is almost 2 lbs heavier, so combined with the amazing quality, it should be a much burlier bike. Though maybe if it's not going to be dropped heavily, it's not really necessary. I'd go with the quality choice though (not that there's anything wrong with Banshee).
Honestly haven't seen the ridge

But I really love my Scirocco. I also have a Morphine in bright yellow on the shelf, waiting for a lucky hucker.

That Banshee Scirocco looks really nice,I havent seen the Ridge but I love that banshee. If you go with the Scirocco I know you'll be happy. :)
I've ridden both bikes on many occasions and really liked both. The ridge was set up more for freeride with a sherman firefly, diablos cranks, 2.5 mobsters ect. Very nice bike on the trails and drops. The scirroco i rode was set up xc with crossmax wheels, 3 rings up front, weighed in at like 28lbs (lite to me having never owned a bike under 35lbs lmao) Anyways, the bike hauled ass, the only problem i had was the clearence with the chainring, granted it had a big ring but the evil bashring on the ridge wasnt much smaller, and i found myself catching on alot of things i normally wouldnt be getting caught up on. Other than the clearence issues the bike ripped. The scirroco will be cheaper, lighter, and have a better warentee. However the ridge is handwelded by the legend himself, to my knownledge there are still alot of franks frames still being ridden from way back when, you'll get a high quality product from FTW. I loved my buddies ridge so much i havent one of my own on the way very soon. I think you'd be happy with either bike, i know i enjoyed both of them. Good luck with your decision, whatever frame you decide to go with you'll be a happy guy.

Hey, that looks just like what I had in mind. Same color, wheels, & fork.
Nice!
Can't beat Banshee. I've got a Chaparral already and those boys in BC rule.

Now, somebody show me a pic of their Ridge.

What kind of warranty does Sinister have? Don't see anything on their site about it.
Heres the picture of my friends ridge that i rode. Someone above wanted to see one so i figured i'd dig through my pics to see if i had one.

Go with the ridge

I'm a little biased, but I would pick the ridge over the banshee, but either one would be sweet. Here's mine...

Yeah, as much as I dig the Banshees, I'm totally in love with the Ridge.
So that's what I'm going with. Already negotiated a sweet deal on one.

And ewwwwww weeeee yours looks damn sweet man!
That's awesome man, you won't be sorry. I'm very very jealous. Make sure to post pics for the rest of us to drool over when you get it!

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about it, but the only downer is that it won't be complete for a while.

I've got about 75% of the parts for the build.

It'll be hanging on my wall talking to me in sleep.
