my team for the 24 hour that i am in is usually made up of the guys that i work with but iff plans happen to fall in and you still have space avail i might take you up on that offer of a ss teamnogearshere said:since you brought it up - i have been working on chico racing to consider a ss division on their race schedule...while it wont hit the ocup circuit (could care less really) we could get one for the 8hrs and 24hr events...not to mention tuesday night series.
last year i had 2 ss teams in the races, only unofficially recognized division...i know there were 10 or 15 individuals scattered abouts too. this year i am looking for 6-10 (ss) 4man teams. interested?
What about solos? I've done the 24 hrs of Summer Solstice the last 3-yrs solo on my SS (finishing 6th, 5th and 4th, respectively). I hope to get on the Podium for '06!nogearshere said:next year for the 24 and 8 hour events there will be prize(s?) for the top finishing SS team(s)...
well...1speed_Mike said:What about solos? I've done the 24 hrs of Summer Solstice the last 3-yrs solo on my SS (finishing 6th, 5th and 4th, respectively). I hope to get on the Podium for '06!
Great to see the SS-bug spreading! See you at Albion!

36x18 is what I've used the last 3-yrs...can't see changing it now!nogearshere said:well...
ottawa seems to be stacked and therefore to be open to anyone in the (613) you will need to run the gearing of our choice.
Which is the way I like it!nogearshere said:at this point all teams and solos will be racing within the confines of the existing groups (as many challenged for overall).
Lemme get on the podium first, then we'll talknogearshere said:each team or rider will be marked with an SS or othersuch indicator. there will be no 'duplicate' prizes given out, so should you podium in the solo i will keep the jersey...
Just another (of the many) reasons why Adam and Sean rock! And, thanks for your efforts, too.nogearshere said:there are details to be worked out but right now the brothers ruppel have made the first move, now we need to fill the ranks - more riders/teams - more prizes.
Setting your sight too low. Go for the win Mike.1speed_Mike said:Lemme get on the podium first, then we'll talk![]()
???Note, Redline does not permit Internet sales,
so you'll have to visit us in West Newton, Massachusetts to buy one of these.
Thanks for the encouragement, Matt. But, I gotta be realistic...I'm just not getting out or getting in the training I once used to. Work, Family, etc. have changed what I used to be able to invest into racing. But, I've learned a few things in the last 3 yrs of solo'ing, so I'm hoping to use this insight to help offset what I've lost in endurance, etc. and gained in weight...oy!Circlip said:Setting your sight too low. I doubt it...a while back, I was looking into the Redline cross bikes and called Redline's distributor in Canada (can't remember the name...call Redline in the US if you want it) and they only deal with the BMX line. But, things may have changed.jason74 said:Aren't there any dealers in Southern Ontario, I'm sure a bmx redline dealer could get it.
