I'm thinking of going to a single ring upfront using the 32T middle ring. On cross bikes using a single ring set up, they use two chain gaurds to keep the chain from popping off the front ring. I've only seen these set ups for 42T & 44T rings. Does anyone know of a similar set up for 32T rings? I'd chuck it all and go single speed, but I live in a very verticle environment.

just did the same thing... check out something call ngear jumpstop I think is what its called. Keeps the chain on. Whats your cassette size? You may want a bigger front gear than 32. I'm running a downhill 38t and a 11-32 rear in a pretty flat urban environment
