I have an '00 Simplon Cirex frame and haven't been able to find any information on the rear shock brace that attaches to the row of attachment points (thus being adjustable) encircled in the photo below. I checked out Simplon's website but most of it is in Swiss or German and besides, the word 'Cirex' doesn't even exist on that site, or so it seems. I asked an LBS mech if I could just have my brother machine me a brace unit from an aluminum block but he said that suspension parts must be either the original, or just like them. Anything you guys could do to help me would be awesome. Its a light frame, unique, single pivot so SPV/propedal will work fine, and for under 5.5 lbs and with up to 6" rear travel, it'll make a fun plush bike.
