Anyone ever deal with a seized suspension bolt? The rear chain stay pivot bolt on my 2008 S-Works Stumpjumper is seized. Not only that, the bolt is now stripped! Specialized has no available stays for 2008 bikes! Tried penetrating oil, freezing bolt, eze out...
Drill a relatively small hole in the center and use a extractor. Be sure to slowly thread in, they snap pretty easily if you go full speed and it really is seized because of the hardening process they use.
If that fails, very very carefully drill it out our have a machine shop do it. Ideally, bike is in a vice with a drill press doing the work.
