Does anyone know how these brand's sizes compare? I run a size 43 Sidi Mega. I am wondering if the Giro HV sizing is the same for those of you that have tried both. I currently run the Sidi Dominator 7. I am thinking of buying the Giro Cylinder HV. Thanks.

The Sidi Mega is wider than the Giro HV.
IMO, The only SPD shoe that comes close to the Sidi Mega in width is the Specialized Comp Wide version.

I have wide-ish feet. Not a true wide but wider than most cycling shoes. Giro HV are barely passable and I still get hot spots. If I had truly wide feet I don't think they'd be a good option. Best cycling shoes I've owned are my Lakes. Their standard width is perfect and their wides are really wide. I got a wide road shoe thinking I'd need them wide and my feet swim in them.

I use Specialized S-Works 3 numbers too long in order to have them wide enough. Mega would have been OK, but in the climate here ventilation is more preferred than some empty room for my toes.
