Sidewall bulge on Nevegals

Hi,

I bought a 2.35 Stick-E Nevegal as a front tire and was really happy with it for a couple of rides. I went for an epic ride last weekend and once back at the house, I realized that the tire had developed a bulge on the sidewall. It sticks out maybe a mil, is a couple of cms long. I felt the sidewall and it is definitely thinner at that place than around it.

I took the tire off as I don't think it is safe to ride it. Do you concur?

My second issue is that the tire is practically new, so what's the recourse in those cases? Do I have to send it to Kenda for replacement? As much as I don't like the Nevegal as a rear tire, because it is too slow, I kinda like it as a front tire. The Stick-E has plenty of grip and feel sure footed.

Thanks a lot.

Sounds like a defect. Contact Kenda.
Are you running tubes? or tubeless with sealant?

If it's the latter, you're on your own.

I usually run tubeless, but I didn't have time to convert them, so they were with tubes.
there was a thread exactly like this, same tire and setup, a few months ago. kenda took care of the guy with a new tire with very little hassle.

if you got it locally, the shop should help you out and/or change it out on the spot.. if not, just contact kenda. id be surprised if you didnt get a new tire.
