The weight is nice but, er...is there anything in the legs?:skep: You have a reputation for showcasing light stuff w/out any details for what has been done to achieve the weight. Personally, I think a gutted SID is next to worthless in any practical application but they sure look nice on a scale.

If you read (ok, watch ) all the topic you can see that I install the Sid Race 2001 damper in the right leg... You must know I hate "show only" components...

i don't know exactly which you have there but there's definitely lighter ones available.
to me those seem to be either Jagwire or Transfil?

ok - those are great cables but at 36g/m 9g heavier than the I-Link (27g/m)
