They are Original Equipment - I wouldn't be surprised if they have the miss cast lowers like many of the early runs of the new SID did(I got 3 - 2 of which were sent out as replacements - not cool). I also got an outstanding deal on mine...wonder why??

If you get it, pop a wheel in it and make sure the rim is centered in the lowers.

Looks good to me, but you'll have to elaborate on what, specifically, was wrong with yours.

Specifically - The wheel did not sit straight in the drop outs. The wheel sat closer to the braking side. They also sent me two replacements, directly(work for a shop), that had the exact same issue.

It's not an issue that was only experienced by myself. It seemed to be somewhat widespread - especially considering I got 3 myself.

It's an excellent fork. They just had some QC issues with it. I wouldn't be surprised if there are still some kicking around - might be a reason to the steep discounts.
