Hello all. Quiz time. I have older Rock Shox SID SL (2000) with Shimano brakes and want to upsize the rotor. Can I go all the way to 203mm with quick release axle?
My concern is I might tear off my mounting tabs. Fact or fiction? Has anyone tried this?

You're just as likely to shear the stanchions off the crown. SID and 8" rotors sounds like a recipe for disaster.
