I would call as soon as you figure out times. Not sure how far ahead they fill up, but it is hard to show up and get on the shuttle you want. Yuba is good about letting you change reservations or giving a rain check if you can't make it.
Don't tear up the trails before we get there.darthbobby said:I reserved a spot on the 9am DVO shuttle for the 27th. I'm going with the hammerin wheels (meetup group) and so far there's 5 of us but it may expand to 15 or more. I would recommend you reserve soon if you want that 9am shuttle =)
No worries. It's not really difficult but I understand it's all relative. Don't be afraid to bring some body armor. A full suit is overboard (plus you'd overheat) but some elbow/knee/shin pads are not uncommon and I'd advise wearing them if you have them ( I will be....don't think you'll look foolish ). You'll probably see us around town on Sat since we're running the 2:00 shuttle as well....probably be hanging out at the pizza joint. Have fun.darthbobby said:haha, I'll try not to tear up the trails with my face too much but I can't guarantee that others won't... None of us have even been to Downieville before and I think we'll all be going slow. If you find someone on the side of the trail bleeding out, stop and say hi. It might be me =)
