looks very familiar ... i am rollin' 1x9 and some squish also.

I would suggest a bash guard, and jumpstop, especially if you aren't running a short cage derailer.

i dropped a few chains, and one got sucked into my rear cassette and the derailer was shredded into 3 parts. added a jumpstop and bash, and now i can ride through the roughest stuff out there with no issues.

Few updates from my last picutres..

Got a new Reba, Shimano LX crankset and a nice HUGE WTB Stout.

NOCTURNUS: That wouldn't happen to be out at Muleshoe, would it? I'd recognize Texas cedar anywhere.

Here's my new D660 in 21"

It just arrived the other day. I have two rides on it so far and love it. I came from a 2007 Giant Anthem 2 fully slung machine so I wasn't sure if I could go to a hard tail. Twenty-Nine inches of rolling stock have made me a believer.

only stock bits are the frame, fork, seatpost, and seatpost clamp
That's Awesome. What kind of Motor is that? That looks very clean. Is that the 2.35 Big Apples? How are they?
