Should've bought a 2010 Vaya in the Metallic Root Beer...

I'm really kicking myself for not jumping on a 57cm 2010 Vaya in the metallic root Beer. I had a few chances, but for one reason or another, just didn't follow through. Maybe I was holding out for the new color thinking it would work. The nice classy metallic paint and nice graphics will be missed. Sorry Salsa, the new non-metallic orange and the tribal style graphics just aren't doing it for me.

If anyone has a new/mint 57cm 2010 Vaya frame and fork, or know where I can get my hands on one, please let me know. I'll be calling dealers around the country soon. You can bypass a PM and send a message directly to: [email protected]

I'm leaving for a Bahamas cruise tomorrow morning (2/21) so won't respond until next weekend.

Thanks,
Steve

The new orange is a metallic/pearl, but it doesnt come through in photos very well. We are also offering the Vaya in the same metallic charcoal as the El Mariachi as a frameset.

Glad to see that there will be a choice. The website does not show the charcoal option.
Mmmm. Molteni orange.
I've been converted. I too did not care at first for the color. I only had the crummy, unflattering crapola pictures to go by. Salsa has all these photography nuts floating around there and not a one seems to be able to direct a camera towards a product. Go figure.
In the past however, their paint has always come through. I remember when the "root beer" color came out, people lamented the color choice. I decided that I have to trust in the color upon delivery AND go with a few people's opinions who I trust that have seen the bike in person. I have an orange/dreamcicle colored La Cruz so how bad can it be? I just wish my "tangerine" colored (thats what it looks like to me) frame would show up.
Wish we had a little more accurate delivery date for the 2011 completes. I am itching in my seat everyday I get on here.
