So I was gonna do a bleed before I get back to my springtime riding and I see that my friend's bleed kit (for juicys) has the parts necessary to shorten lines. I could definitely use this as the Code5 has a very long front brake line. I assume this kit should work with my Code5s, right???

What is the consensus on sharp razor blade vs dremel/cut-off wheel for cutting lines? I have used the dremel to shorten cable and housing before, but never did a brake line.

What is the preferred fluid these days for mtb brakes? I seem to recall that #4 was OK, but then I have also heard of 5.1... what would my Code5 have already? Any possibility of fluids that don't play nicely together?

Thanks
