I have a new BMC Fourstroke Medium frame and the RAD seatpost is a tiny bit too tall and cannot be lowered any further - I need to get to 690mm. The range on medium bikes on the BMC site is 700mm.

BMC sells a small post, which would be perfect, but it’s $750 on their site which seems a little ridiculous when the frame and post sells for $2500. Has anyone modified these posts to make them shorter?

Nope, BMC told me that's as low as it will go and that you have to buy a shorter one if you want to go shorter.
