Well, there is no clothing forum...so I thought I might post this here.
I have been riding bikes for a long time. After a long break of aroun 6yrs, I have gotten serious about over the last couple of years again. My problem is that I can never seem to find shoes that keep me from getting numb feet. I thought that I had found a shoe that worked for me in the Specialized Tahoe, but last night on a 3 hr urban ride I got the dreaded numb toes. I have started really loosening up my laces around the toe box to help with foot swelling, but I am now wondering if inserts may be best.
BTW, I went with the Tahoe because it is known to be more generous in width and I wear a New Balance 11 4E as my sneaker type shoe.
I have thought about Sidi Mega Wides, but I really don't want to spend 150.00 to find out they don't solve my numb toe problems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
