I had the previous 2FO Cliplites which were great but the heel collapsed. Sent them back and couldn’t get anymore.

New ones just come, bought them and they fit amazing, except for the lack of padding at the top of the tongue which digs into the ankle (I’m not alone, few similar reports on Spesh UK site).

Tried the CB Mallet Boa but can’t find anything with the arch support that the ClipLites have.

Anyone have any recommendations? Ideally BOA as laces are annoying when soaking wet…

I like the ME5's more than my 2FO Cliplites. They're lower and WAY more glovelike in the fit. They don't last as long though.

Bummer on the new Cliplites. Every review I've read mentioned the tongue issue, literally every single review. Maybe sew padding in? Dunno.

I've been crank bro's shoe curious, they look good. The ME5's are nice though and far lighter than the CB's.
