7,875 * 2,00 is correct and recommended size. You can use shock with longer stroke too, quite many uses (7,875" * ) 2,25" shocks, inc. me ... If using 2,25" shock, there`s need to do a clearance check (because of potential risk for rubbing seat tube) when using big rear-tyres and the top hole mount with shock.
