You just need a 7.5 eye to eye air shock with a 2 inch stroke. I'd say Swinger SPV would do well. Or a Fox with propedal. That should help you lighten up and still pedal in the 6.3" mode.
I'm running my stock coil Swinger with the SPV chamber pretty much at 150 psi. It helps me climb better - not as good as my 03 Dakar XLT with it's Swinger but that's mostly due to the AC's slacker headtube angle.
I'm thinking of getting a 5th Element Air for mine. You need the 7.5 x 2.0 version and two mounting kits as the stock mount hardware won't work for this. It's listed at approx. 199 grams. That's much less than half the weight of my Swinger 4-way w/ 550lb coil.
