Hey guys

i own a 2005 cannondale jekyll with a fox float RL shock. i have been riding alot of road miles to get my fitness up and keep off some weight. i've heard that riding a shock in the lockout position for some time can cause damage. is this true? should i invest in a hardtail?

thanks in advance

I don't think it applies to the type of lockout found on your shock. All the lockout does is prevents oil from cycling through the compression circuit. This is a hydraulic lockout and shouldn't hurt things.
