A friend of mine bent his Romic lower shock mount sleeve on his M1, he has never bent his Fox Shox sleeve. Romic uses 304 stainless steel for the sleeves which has a yield strength about half as much a s 416 stainless steel which Fox uses. I would try to get your sleeve from Fox, they won't bend again like the Romic ones. The sleeves are standard diameters at different lengths for different frames.
