Wow, where do I start........I would say no for the strong type bushings. The Strong type bushing could produce slope in the shock eyelet upon installation. Their is a reason why the DU Bushing has a slit in it......it's sizes upon installation into the eyelet and upon spacer installation. I have a lot of hours testing the Igus composite bushings. I thought about selling them as an option but they didn't last near as long as the DU Bushings I currently sell.

I like the tftune approach because they use a quad seal on the spacer to help keep out the dirt which increases the DU Bushing life.

If you're having premature DU Bushing failure then:

1. Do you have the correct installation tool?...a socket is not the tool for this job
2. What DU Bushings are you buying
3. Are your spacers out of spec....they do wear out
4. What is your riding style, trail condition, and bike?
