  • Can anyone recommend some good shock bushing presses/drifts, whatever they're called? I use my bench vise a lot for this and some of these come too long, and I don't always have the correct size sockets to make up for this.
  • I bought 2 inexpensive one and they leave a lot to be desired. Thanks in advance.

I picked up a set from RWC when I wanted to install their needle bearing kit. Worked well to remove old bushings, press needle bearings, and press other shock hardware.


They have now come out with a modular press kit for all bearings, I don't have any experience with that.

Rockshox makes one, metal is soft though so have to file ridges off the outside of the face after each use. If the abbey doesn't have that problem it's certainly worth the extra $
