I have a 2004 talas rlc that has a shock blow off adjustment. What purpose does this serve? Also, if the shock does blow off, what are the implications if any? Does oil coming out of the blow off knob indicate that the blow off threshold was reached?

Thanks loads:)

Lockout Blowoff

The blowoff threashold adjuster adjusts how much force it takes to compress the fork again when the lockout is activated.

This is there for people to play with so they feel special- it is part ot the compression damping adjustment and Fox can put it there so its there.

There will be no leaking oil, or any other bad experences when activating the blowoff, only that the forks don't get kicked out of your hands becauce you forgot to turn off the lockout.
