This might seem like an odd question, but for protective uppers like the Leatt or Troy Lee, does it make more sense to wear a t-shirt under or over the protection? I'm pretty sure the Troy Lee is intended to be worn against the skin, but I've seen people at the bike park doing the opposite. Are there issues like chafing or slippage that anyone has run into? Or does it really just come down to personal preference?
