Going to Whistler in a couple of weeks and trying to figure out the best way to transport the bike. Does anyone have expereince with the airlines vs Fedex/UPS/ or DHL????

Thinking about shipping direclty to the hotel, but concerned the bike will get held up in Canadian customs.

iv'e done it through the airlines.It's no problem ,but make sure your bike is in a good carrying case.

in the USA ship it so you don't have the hassle of carrying it around the airport......international fly it with you on the plane

It cost me $80 US to take my DH bike on the plane to Switzerland from Cali with me. It cost $550 US to Ship my Urban/DJ bike with UPS. yeah... Thats a lot.

Thanks for the responses to my question. Sounds like checking it with the airline is the way to go;or riding it to Whistler!
