My son has a Schwinn with a Shimano Tourney RD-TX30 direct attach derailleur that was stock and plastic. Its now broke and bent beyond repair. I would like to replace it with an all metal or mostly metal one. Any ideas as to a replacement for this that won't break the bank? Maybe this is an ok part but the plastic seems to be a problem. I know the bike is not the best but it worked for a year before it broke. Guess he was lucky as I have read where this has broke and taken spokes with it. Thanks for any help. Please include model numbers if possible as to the replacement. Again, thanks for any and all help.

check out http://www.jensonusa.com for all kinds of different derailleurs, they usually have good prices. just match up according to speed, any of the name brand shimano models should work, from deore all the way to saint...but dont quote me on that. Im still new at this.
