anyone use shimano mp66 (the white stormtrooper looking ones) ever
on flat pedals? my friend's got a brand new pair to sell because they don't fit. Getting offered a "bro" deal on 'em...$30 bucks but I don't clip
in. I was just thinking picking up a second pair of shoes. I run 5.10s and straitlines so I'm spoiled but curious if anyone has tried these on flats.

Errrrr,
don´t know exactly which one you mean.

I have the Shimano AM40 shoes. The white ones with the cap over the laces.
They are for platform pedals, there´s no possibilty to mount cleats for spds.
I really like them, are stiff enough for good pedaling power and offer good grip.

If they fit, 30$ is a steal.
As they are not made of real leather, they are a bit sweaty, but that goes for most bike shoes.

Greetings Znarf
