Shimano Saint brakes with EBC gold pads?

I'm currently using Shimano Saint brakes with 8 inch rotors with EBC gold pads I believe those are the Sintered type. Anyways, my rear brake as a tendency to make my whole bike vibrate slightly, like metal on metal contact, but there is still plenty of brake pad left, is it possible that my brake pads are bad now, I don't think the rotor is the problem. Thanks in advance for any help offered.

sounds like an alignment problem, try recentering them. They only need to be out by a little bit and possibly wont vibrate until heavy braking occurs I have found, but it all goes away when the pads are broken in and aligned correctly

I don't think it's an alignment problem, I've already aligned my brakes several times, and this doesn't accure during heavy braking at all.

Try putting a small dab of copper grease on the backing plate.
