Looking for an AM 15mm 26" front wheel and wanted to know if anyone had experience with either the shimano MT-68 or the easton vice.

I am about 230lb and need something stiff to handle the black diamond trails in north Lake Tahoe.

Any advice would be great. Thanks

Are you interested in MT68 because of the UST feature? In case you are not aware of this, it is a drilled rim (ie there are nipple holes), so you'll need to use rimtape and most likely some sealant as well to run tubeless setup.

I had XC version of this rim (66) on my bike for the last couple of months, too early to tell anything. But I do not expect longevity from the rear freehub, I had Deore and XT rear hubs and they all fail sooner or later (XT cracked in half after 8 months, last Deore locked solid after 1.5 years). MT68 and 66 are well priced and are often on sale at CRC or Wiggle, as well as XT 785 and 788(?). Have no knowledge of Easton Vice.
