haven't tried the 6100 but the 7100(slx) has a softer shift compared to 8100
I have both.Is the feel of the 7100 any different? More refined or anything like that? Or is it basically the same?
From what I can tell by the exploded drawings and parts list, both shifters use the same parts for both the bar clamp and EV mounts. Both parts appear to be sold separately but with the description as being for the 7100. (no mention of 6100)

Thanks!I have both.
The 7100 has a lighter click. Not quite Sram level, but close.
On the SL-M6100-I sheet, it is marked as "B" for the SL-M7100-I shifting lever unit (basically the functional core). Is the feel of the 7100 any different? More refined or anything like that? Or is it basically the same?
