Sounds normal. Take some rubbing alcohol and clean the resevoir off well. Ride it and see if the problem persists. I've had that with those brakes, just overflow.
Shimano M485 - leaking reservoir seal
Howdy!
New to hydraulic brakes, so it may be normal after bleed. Bleed rear brakes (first time for me and for the brakes), brakes work fine, however, there is some amount of oil seeping through reservoir seal and around bolts holding reservoir cover.
I did fill the reservoir to the point of overflowing before closing the cover, but wiped all oil after cover was in place. Still, a day later a can get oily film on my fingers, and I can see oil around the bolts.
This is the first time the cover was taken off the reservoir, and I checked the seal/diaphragm - looks fine to me. So, any ideas?
