Need some help people,

Ive got a set of Saint cranks (double with bash) and want to run an XT rear mech. Only problem is some web sites quote the GS as being short cage and some quote it as being medium cage??? I know that alot of people recommend only running a short cage with a single ring, so if the GS is short then will I have to run a long cage? The shimano website quotes the capacity of the GS as 33T, so Im guessing that it will work fine with the Saints, but just want to make sure.

Thanks in advance.

before you pull the trigger......i would look into buying the Sram X-9's or X-0's (X-O's cost way more)

they have stronger springs (less ghost shifting) and the drailer doesn't beat the frame as much

and

they don't have the cable loop to get caught up on things....

no way would I buy Shimano rear derailers again because of those 2 things
