Can I separate the shifter from the brake lever? I would like to buy another brake system and it has its own levers but I will still need the shifter part. Is this possible, need help, Happy Holidays

Not sure. You can check the manual here see if that helps (assuming this is what you are talking about) Shimano ST-M761 Tuas Perpindahan/Rem Exploded View | Manualzz

You probably have i-spec shifter (you should check exact model of shifter to see which i-spec version you have).
New brakes can probably be fitted with adapter for i-spec. Which new brakes model are you buying?

I am buying the Piccola Carbon brakes from Germany. Yes I figured that out the I-spec is what I have. Thanks
I-spec is what I have.
There are a few I-Spec designs (Thanks Shimano ) This may be what you seek: I-Spec Bar Clamps | Brakes | Problem Solvers

Wolftooth makes a couple for different I-Spec specs : https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com...ed/products/shiftmount?variant=39283074072611
trickstuff has i-spec adapters, probably all out of stock right now, but if you are buying direct from them you might wanna ask them to add to your order otherwise you gonna need a regular shifter that comes with the clamp
