Shimano 12 speed shifter I-spec vs regular

I have the I-spec bracket on my bike currently running a SLX 12 speed shifter, if I can only source the non I-spec SLX 12 speed, can the mounting bracket be removed and the shifter be installed on the current I-spec bracket? Thanks in advance.

No, the i-Spec EV shifters don’t have provisions for clamps.
