Hey Shiggy, I was just wondering what you thought of the GEAX Lobo-Loco. I was running Nevegals on a Moto-lite and tried some Lobo-Loco's. To my amazement they hooked up just as well and had less rolling resistance. Your thoughts?

I too am interested in these tires as they are the only UST tires my LBS carries. I am currently running Geax Sturdys and they seem pretty good. I get the occaisional pin hole between the knobs, but they are easily fixed with superglue.

Lobo-Loco

They are supposed to be 2.3's. I think they are closer to 2.2. They are tough tires with really soft rubber on the corenering knobs. Mine aren't ust (I don't think). They are fairly light. Lighter than a set of Kenda Kinetics that I have. They run straight and seem to track true. I am a certified tire nut (just ask my wife) and bought these off e-bay cheap. The ratings on most of the geax tires on mtbr seem to be pretty good. I actually liked the way they rode better than the Nevegals that I have. By the way another one of my favorite tires is the IRC Mibro in 2.25. IMHO they also seemed to ride better than the Nev;s. And as for the Lobo's I am running them on both ends. They are marked with speed and traction arrows. Speed on the front and traction on the back
