This seems to happen a lot with the XT shifters out there. An SLX 12 speed shifter will work just as well. Could also try another XT shifter and hope for the best.
Shifter question xt 8100
Total newbie here... I have an ibis ripmo with the xt components. Has maybe 600 miles or so on it.
The shifter is broke, the longer trigger that shifts the bike to the easier gears is not catching the shifts... I looked it up and seems like a design issue with the shifter that is not fixable.
Instead of replacing it with the same shifter, is there one I can buy that won't have these issues?
