I see a lot of people shave their chainrings. Can anyone explain how to do this? What do you use? Files, Dremels? Also, I have a Deore Hollowtech crank that I want to remove the black paint. How should I go about this? Begin with wet sand paper? What weights? Paint remover and wire brush? I would like a nice shiny finish. Thanks.
