Soon to join your ranks ... Hakka MX being built this week. I've been riding XC mtb for 20+ years, and this is my first drop bar bike. Looking for mixed pavement/dirt adventures like the one I did with the Hakka demo I had last week.

Any suggestions?
I live in Sf and regularly ride Marin gravel/dirt

Would be happy to take you on one of my typical rides some time! Alternatively check out Fat Cake Club, they do occasional "dirty cake" rides.

Studio Velo in Mill Valley organizes gravel/mixed rides most Saturdays. Join their Strava group or their newsletter. They also have posted some of their favorite routes here: https://www.studiovelocycling.com/marin-loops

Sports basement is organizing a gravel ride on August 3: https://strava.app.link/linXARqpiY

I'd be up for joining anyone around Marin County. I'm finishing building up a Jamis Renegade right now.

I'm doing Old Growth Classic in 2 months down in Big Basin, definitely some routes to pull out of this course The Race â€" Old Growth Classic â€" 2019. I'm planning on doing a few pre rides starting from Hwy 1 -- one this Saturday, then a few in late August/early Sept (I'm in Europe first few weeks of August). My Saturday preride will start hella early at Año Nuevo State park, plan on riding the Butano loop at least, Gazos Creek climb after if I have the legs left. DM me if you want to join
