Folks,

Having trouble pulling the drive shell assembly on my SS King Hub so that I can service its bearings on the drive side. I've pulled the assembly easily on another CK hub I have but this one won't budge. Any tricks?

Thanks!

I can't think of any tricks. Just remove the axle and it should come right out. Sometimes I've had to "rock" it a little as I back turn it out of the ring drive mechanism. Good luck, I wish I had more info to help you out here.

Put a cog on the freehub to give you something to lever your fingers against, and like gmats said, rock it slightly as you pull out. The only thing holding the freehub in there (under normal circumstances) is a thin o-ring (well, and the axle, but you already removed that, right?). It should pop right out though it may take a few tugs.
