For about 5 or 6 months, I've had some soreness in the tendon behind my left knee. It is the outside tendon. I believe the pain started from my road bike saddle being too high, poor pedal stroke, and maybe overtrained (note: I have extremely flat feet). I got fitted back in August, which was helpful with my form and saddle height/saddle fore-aft position. I've been wearing an IT band brace to compress the tendon (seems to help), but I still get sore regularly. From what I've read, this isn't something that should require surgery, but Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation (RICE) is probably the best. Anyone experience this kind of inflammation? IT Band remedies?
