Taking the wife and bikes to Sedona this weekend. We're both intermediate XC riders, not looking for super-tech, but not looking for beginner trails/fire roads. Also not looking to spend a ton on lodging, and would like to take the bikes in the room without a hassle...

+1 for Red Agave. Stayed there with the wife last month. Couple hundred yards from the Bike & Bean and the Bell Rock Pathway, which has many trails of all levels branching off from it.

Another vote for Red Agave. Stayed there this spring for a few days. Awesome place, awesome staff. Might be a little more expensive than you were thinking, but all rooms have kitchens, and BBQ's right out the door, so you can save money on meals.

Trails: We are also intermediate xc riders, and we liked: Made in the Shade, Slim Shady, Templeton, Llama, Chicken Point, Broken Arrow, Little Horse. Some will scoff that those are too "touristy", but we had fun, and fit the type of riding we were looking for.

Hi I'm planning a biz trip to Phoenix at month end and planning to visit Sedona for MTB'g as well. Wondering if the weather will be too hot to ride?I guess Red Agave it is from the reviews huh.

Are there any local rides I can join on Saturdays and Sundays? I'm an intermediate rider, more xc-ish with SPD at all times rather than free ride and always wheels on ground type of rider, no FR no jumps :)

How does Red Agave compare to the Kokopelli Inn which is in the same vincinity?
I personally know nothing about the Kokopelli Inn. What I do know is one of the best rides in the Village of Oak Creek is right out the back door of the Red Aguave. Also the Red Aguve is partially owned by the Bike & Bean that you will probably be going to for intel during your stay.

If you are into supporting your LBS then try out the Red Aguave. If you could care less about your LBS stay at the Kokopelli Inn and give a review of your stay when you head home from your visit.
