Seca review response (and rockin' good deal)

As a long time customer of Light & Motion, I've been awaiting your Seca review, having recieved one only recently. I can't add much to it, since I mostly agree with it. However, I would like to downplay one of it's percieved negatives. While it does weigh a little more than some of the other lightheads, and gives off a E.T. vibe, given its shape, and how high it sits, if used as a helmet mount, I believe that the with the Seca's beam pattern, this is a very effective mounting position.

I do have an issue with the price, given the strength and price point of this years competition. However, if you haven't spent all of your holiday money, I can temporarily help you offset that, with a shoutout to a mtbr.com sponsor. Beyondbikes.com, with a combination of low price, and discount code L8TR, not only sold me a Seca 700 race kit for only $393, but managed to deliver it to a location over 100 miles away in less tha 48 hours, in spite of having ordered it the last weekend before Christmas. If you can afford to pull the trigger by the end of December, and saving 31% sounds good to you, perhaps you should consider these guys. They sure hooked me up.

Beyond Bikes is very well known as a bad retailer. Avoid Beyond Bikes.

This is funny, looks like if you work for BB. Just promoting their "good service" which is nonexistant, THEY SUX with their delivery times. Will never buy from them again, already did it more than once with not so good experiences
Well, this isn't what I expected. That Sasquatch and others have a grievance with a store I suggested is a bit unsettling. I can tell you before sending the post, that I did verify that Beyond Bikes was indeed a legitimate Light & Motion sales outlet, and that I also waited until I had recieved and tested the unit before telling telling the readers of MTBR. This seemed better than crowing about it immediately, only to discover that I would not see the money or the product, and that I had just reccomended to others a bogus web store located in the Soviet Union.

I really like my Seca, BBW, and simply wanted others to have a chance to get a good deal, if the price was otherwise a deal breaker. I have no connection to Beyond Bikes; this is the first time i've done business with them. But if my positive experience is not what other have had, then I apologize to anyone who may feel I've steered them wrong. I'm still pleased with my transaction, but anyone considering my post should also check out the web links included in Sasquatch's post, and consider those responses as well.

And to Beyond Bikes, should you get wind of this, your customer service has just been called out. You don't have to respond to any of this, but as a business and a MTBR sponsor, I'm sure it would not be a waste of your time if you did.

Jeez, this is a bummer. Now I have to use the un-smiley icon.
